The men's team of Levski played their first friendly game since they came back from the preparation from Belmeken. The opponent was the champion of Bulgaria Lukoil Academic. Levski lost by the score 68-95 in Triaditsa Hall in Sofia. Only in the first quarter Levski stayed close as they were trailing by two points (19-21). After that point Lukoil Academic runaway and won by 27 points margin at the end.
For Levski Rob Preston played very well in the start of his second season with the blue shirt. The forward scored 16 points and added 3 rebounds. Stanislav Slaveykov added 14 points and 5 rebounds, while Vesko Veselinov and Stefan Georgiev added 11 points apiece. Debut for Levski in official game made Hristo Zahariev.
