Levski needed 16 minutes to beat Rilski Sportist

Levski was losing by 18 points 6 minutes and 18 seconds before the end of the third quarter but turn the things around and not only came back but won with a good 13 points at the final whistle - 96-83 against Rilski Sportist. That makes 51-20 in the last 16 minutes in favor of Levski basketball led in this game by assistant coach Tony Detchev. As its known, Titi Papazov has a penalty of four meetings not to stay on the bench of his team in the NBL, and this was the third meeting of them.

Levski now has 13 wins and 6 losses and remains fourth in the standings of NBL. The battle for third, even for second place is yet to be determine after Cherno More beat Balkan in the same time in Varna. In the next round Levski will have a hard test as they visit Cherno More in Varna searching for their first win in the league over this team this season.

After one even first quarter (25-25), the visiting gained the lead at the break by 12 points (52-40) thanks to precise shooting from distance. They kept the lead until the fourth minute of the second half when Levski started the turn in their favor. Levski dominated on both sides of the floor - in offense and defense and literally smashed to pieces their opponent.

Three basketball players of Levski finished with 22 points apiece - Hristo Zahariev , Lionel Chalmers and Pavel Ivanov.

The Rilski Sportist new signing Justin Gray scored 21 points, Evan Ravanel added 20 and Jordan Bozov 18 points.
