Dominant Levski at first home game

October 08, 2014

Levski head coach Konstantin Papazov could not wish a better outcome of their first ever home game in ABA League. In front of the loud fans, they have outplayed Mega Vizura and improved the impression from the first round, when they lost by 30 points in Belgrade Hala Pionir against Crvena zvezda Telekom.

The home side opened the game strongly, with a 12:2 score in the opening four minutes and afterwards did not allow Mega Vizura, the first team to score more than 100 points in a single game this season, to make it a close game at any point of the playing time.
By half time, their lead was 19 points high and this is when the winner was pretty much decided. Mega Vizura tried their best to fight their way back into the battle for the victory, but was simply not good enough for the inspired home side.

By the end, the key player of Levski in this game Brandon Heath, collected 18 points (alongside 7 assists), while Aleksandar Marelja had 19 for Mega Vizura.
